It centered on the Brock Family, Jimmy Brock who is a town sheriff, His wife Jill, a town doctor, and their children namely Kimberly, Mathew and Zachary. It not only dealt with all the interesting and provoking things that went on in a small town but also addressed all the social and moral issues that people face in their day to day life.

It was on air for 4 years from 1992-1996 and won a Golden Globe award and other nominations. Picket Fences was a series that not only intrigued people but also touched hearts everywhere. It is a show for mature adults, teens, and children. I think it is the best series ever shown on television.
