What is an E-book Device?

E-book devices or electronic book readers are devices where you can read e-books. It’s like some kind of a cell phone but it’s not. It is very convenient to use than to bring your hardbound books.

What are the top E-book readers?

I’ve research the net and found some cool electronic book readers and here’s the list:

1. Amazon Kindle – it has high resolution screen in a 6” display. Very simple to use and has wireless connectivity that enables you to buy e-books directly from it. It only weighs 10.3 ounces. Price: About $259.

2. Sony Digital Book Reader – this one is much lighter than Kindle because it only weighs 9 ounces. With the same 6” display and also high resolution screen. Price: $279.

3. ECTACO jetbook e-book reader – it also has a high resolution screen with 5” grayscale display. Built-in MP3 player. Supports many different languages. Price: $179.95

There are still a lot more E-book devices out there that will fit your needs as a reader.

Apple launch its newest gadget called iPad and it is literally like a pad where you can do many things that a techie person wants. The screen is 9.7 inches diagonally and weighs only 1.5 pounds and 0.5 inch thin. It is Wi-Fi ready so you can go online anywhere with Wi-Fi signal. You can browse the net, check your emails, watch video on YouTube and HD quality movies, listen to your favorite music on iTunes, store your photos, read cool books on iBooks, navigate map, and many more. There are a lot more cool new features you can enjoy on iPad. The price ranges from $500 – $800 depending on the size of the Memory and the 3G capability. Convert word document to Jpeg Images

Last week my sister and her friends are doing their presentation in powerpoint but some of the graphs and tables are in word document. They don’t know how to transfer tables from word to powerpoint that’s why they ask me if there’s a way on how to convert word doument to Jpeg images. Unfortunately i didn’t also know how too. That’s why I google it and find out that there’s a program that can be use to convert it. I’ve tried and tested it and it really works but not fully because it’s only a demo. The difference is that it leaves a watermark logo of the product at the lower right side of the document. But still it’s useful for some word documents that i have that i want to make into jpeg.

How to recover a corrupted jpeg images/files?

Before that i want to tell you a short story of mine.

My family has a catering services business and we cater different types of occasion. One day my mom asked my friend to take pictures in a double wedding occasion. Because it is a rush contract, my mom had no time to look for a professional photographer that will do the work. My friend and I accepted the opportunity since my friend owned a DSLR camera and another Canon digital camera. We love photography so much that we did not hesitate to decline my mother’s request.

And so the day came and we did take a lot of pictures, from the entourage, ceremony, etc. and to make the long story short, we did a good job. Then after the event, we go to his house to burn all the images we took. We were shocked after we saw the images inside the memory card. It’s all corrupted and all the pictures that we’ve taken are all lost. We didn’t know what to do and to react. It’s a double wedding memories that we’ve lost and we can’t return back time to take another shot.

And so I google “how to recover a corrupted jpeg images”. There are so many software services that offer file recovery but all of them are just recovering deleted files and not repairing corrupted or broken files. Some teach how to prevent file corruption and the reasons why files are being corrupted are. In the end I found out that it’s impossible to recover it again. Sobrang love ko ang photoshop since natuto ako nito last 2007. Pero madami ding nagsasabi na mas maganda ang Corel dito. Ano nga ba ang mas maganda sa dalawa?

Shift deleted an image?

Sobrang gamit na gamit sakin ang Shift delete na button dahil para diretso bura na forever ang files na gusto kong burahin…pero minsan hindi maiiwasan na accidentally eh nabubura natin ang mga files na hindi naman dapat…

Meron na akong post about sa pag recover ng mga shift deleted files pero ito naman eh special for images at photos na nadelete mo….

Salamat kay pareng james ulit dahil sa post niya about sa pag recover ng image na nadelete sa pamamagitan ng shift delete button…

Another big virus again??

Well according sa Yahoo news eh may natuklasan na naman silang malicious na virus(oooppsss hindi ang yahoo news ang nakatuklas…ang US software protection firm F-Secure)… na kumalat na sa net at halos million million na ang affected nito at dumadami pa…hmmm..grabe noh…kahit na nasa loob ka na lang ng bahay eh may masasamang loob pa din…hindi ka nga lang hoholdapin…pero syempre pag nadale ang computer mo eh parang hinoldap ka din dahil sa gagastusin mo…pero kung marunong ka naman gumawa ng sarili mong computer eh di mas ok…

Kaya mga tol wag download ng download at punta ng punta sa mga sites na hindi niyo sigurado kung mapagkakatiwalaan…maging vigilant sa mga nakikitang pop-ups at ads…hanggat maari wag niyo click…pwera ang google ads ha…safe na safe ang google ads….hehe…and also update lang lagi ng computer para hindi kayo madale ng virus…

Ayan hangang sa muli ako si kuya kim ang nagsasabing ang buhay ay weather weather lang!!*nyak*

Adobe after effects first 3 practice projects(updated!)

Wala lang…super cool ng AE, sobrang gusto ko matutunan gumawa ng mga super cool video effects…nakakainspire yung mga gawa ng iba sa youtube.

eto yung unang una kong nagawa

haha…ang panget pa sobra talaga…pero natuwa na din ako kasi isang oras ko halos ginawa yan..tapos eto naman yung next na mas madaling gawin pero mas astig kasi sobrang pulido..sana lang malinaw cam ko…webcam lang kasi gamit ko…

at eto yung kagagawa ko lang halos ngayon….na panget din pero pwede na para sa beginner..haha…

haha…ayan lahat….sana talagang matutunan ko yung mas maganda..haha…as in mga pang universal studios na effects…galing tlaga ng AE!!

Updated…eto yung bago kong gawa na suicide gamit ang kamay na baril..haha…

Imovie for windows?

Is there a windows version of imovie?

Sobrang gusto ko matry ang imovie video editor. Panget kasi ng movie maker eh, baduy..hehe…kaya lang yung imovie eh para lang yata sa mac computers kaya mukhang mabibigo ako….haaayy dibale may cyberlink power director naman at adobe after effects…kaya ok na din…astig na din yung mga yun…mukhang kailangn ko lang aralin ng mabuti yung AE kasi sobrang detalyado ang pagawa ng video dun….

Pero kung may alam kayo na imovie na pwedeng gamitin sa windows eh please pakisabi sakin..hehe…thanks!

What’s the difference between the two battling successors of DVD and DVD itself?

I’m not that what they so called “techy boy” but im aware that DVD era is retiring.

Well hindi naman mawawala but the fact that the tech world is evolving so fast na tipong kakabili mo pa lang ng gadget an ito bukas laos na or may bago na or may mas maganda na.

Ang tanong eh handa ka ba sa mga pagbabago sa technology?

Like for example na lang itong blu-ray and HD DVD. Grabe! bibili pa nga lang ako bukas ng DVD Rom para sa PC ko eh…hehe…*teka nga bakit purong tagalog na ulit ako*

Going back to the topic, arggg…sige na nga tagalog na lang..haha….

So obviously ang pinagkaiba nito sa DVD eh syempre mas mataas ang quality.Ang tanong ulit, kaya ba ng PC mo? well hindi ko din masasagot yan kasi wala pa naman ako ng mga gadgets ng gumagamit ng mga yan. Pero madami ng lumabas na Videocams na supported ang mga ito.

Ano nga ba talaga ang point ko sa blog na ito??

Honestly hindi ko din alam, dahil ba sa wala ako maiblog ngayong araw na ito? Sabaw ang utak? ewan basta kayo na bahala umintindi sa akin..haha….next time photoshop tutorials na lang ulit ang gagawin ko…
