Have you ever heard of google goggles? It is the new way of how to search information of things you want to know more about by just showing an image or capturing an image (like books, places, landmarks, etc.).It is only available on phones that run android 1.6 +.
It is still not perfect but still a great way to discover and get the information you want in an instant. Someday google goggles will be more accurate and will support many images around the world.
